42 kitchenaid mixer 5 qt vs 6 qt

I have been p obsessed with making bread the last few months and received a Kitchenaid mixer for Christmas. I know some mixers struggle with thicker doughs, but mine seems to rock around pretty bad sometimes. I have tried the adjustments I've seen online (setting it on a non-slip surface, adjusting the screw in the neck and head), but it still seems to wiggle. I'm wondering if the dough I'm mixing is too much or too heavy for my mixer. I realized that the book I get most of my recipes from recom... Target has the Kitchenaid Professional 5QT on sale today for $300 (normally $420). Wirecutter recommends the Artisan series. The differences I see are the Artisan is a tilt design while the pro is a lift, and the pro is a little bigger/heavier. Does it just come down to preference on tilt/lift or is one a better option? Thanks!!
